AI could have written this post

I don’t want to make you read something I only released for the sake of releasing. I have a commitment to publish a blog post every Wednesday for the rest of the year. But way too often now I find myself in the middle of a Wednesday night trying to put something interesting together, last minute. Sometimes that goes well, the inspiration just finds me late. But this time, it seems to stay away. I had prepared a topic. I even did research. But the words to create it don’t flow.

I could use my AI agent (Eddie) to write something up. I could even feed him with my previous posts as a reference to mimic my style. But what’s the point? I could never be proud of that. It wouldn’t be my creation. With everything we create I think we put something of ourselves into it and that is what makes it interesting to me. That’s what I want to hear in a song, read in a book or see in a painting.

I use AI all the time. But I also know when I don’t want to use it, and I think that’s what matters these days.
